ICHS PRIVATE SCHOOL BUS

Immaculate Conception High School provides safe and reliable bus routes for our students. The availability of a bus route depends on the number of interested families in the area; if there is enough interest in a particular area, we will investigate adding a new route.
We currently have three multi-passenger vans which are clearly marked as ICHS School Vehicles and are driven by ICHS employees. We also make use of these vans outside of the am and pm transportation needs for class trips, athletic events, service days, etc.
ICHS sends a survey to all parents in the first week of July which is due back by July 15. On it, parents indicate whether they might be interested in bus service. From that, the bus routes are mapped out, and the families contacted again for a commitment, knowing the bus stops and approximate times. Every attempt is made to keep the bus routes under an hour; therefore, stops will be centrally located to allow multiple students to board and leave the bus at the same time. Students may be expected to travel up to 10 minutes to get to the bus stop.
We use FACTS incidental billing feature for the payment schedule; payments do not come out automatically, but the parent must log into their FACTS account monthly to approve that month’s payment. Students who fall behind in payments more than 30 days will no longer be permitted to ride the bus until all arrears are brought current. If a student wishes to discontinue using the bus, 30 days’ notice are required. If a student is not riding the bus on a particular morning, parents must send an email to icbus@ichslodi.org; the message will go directly to all van drivers so that they may adjust their routes as indicated.
While every effort is made to keep to the published times, traffic may require adjustments to be made. During the first two weeks of school, we ask your patience in working out the wrinkles in the schedule. Public Transportation – NJ Transit www.njtransit.com . ICHS has registered with NJ Transit, and our students who purchase a monthly bus or train pass will receive a 25% student discount from NJ Transit.
Felician University Shuttle – Lodi and Rutherford Campuses. Google “Felician University Shuttle Schedule” for information. ICHS students may ride this shuttle for free from one campus to the other.
