The Dance team at Immaculate Conception High School formed due to the determination of our young women. They yearned for a place to come together with their peers, a place to have fun, dance, compete, and most importantly be a team.
The team has grown much since its inception, and while it may still be small in numbers, it is large in heart, fun, and dedication. The ICHS Dance team is a place where despite your technique level or experience we can all come together to find a common ground and create a memorable experience. Those with years of dance background have naturally taken on a leadership role in order to help facilitate those newer to the art.
We are small but mighty, and this year proved that with our phenomenal season! With the ICDT taking home 3rd place at Montclair State’s Third Annual Dance Competition, 1st place and Regional Champions at Dance Team Union’s Regional Competition, 1st place at Pacack Valley’s Sweetheart Invitational, 1st place at Ramapo College’s Tri-State Dance Championships, an conclusion with second place at NJCDCA’s State Championships down in Woodbridge, NJ.
