Immaculate Conception High School is a private Catholic Secondary School for young women in grades 9-12. The Felician Sisters founded and have sponsored ICHS since 1915. ICHS is Middle States Accredited and is affiliated with the Archdiocese of Newark and the National Catholic Education Association.

Immaculate Conception High School follows a modified 4x4 block schedule with a Day 1/Day 2 rotation.

All courses are taken as semester courses except for Math and English for freshmen through juniors, which are scheduled for the entire year. Students taking Math and English all year, take five 80-minute courses each academic semester for a total of 8 courses each year.
Classes are held Monday through Friday, on a two-day cycle which only affects the Math and English course rotation. A student receives five credits for a full year core class and 6 credits for all laboratory-based Science courses. The required program of study is college preparatory; every student who graduates will have taken all the units necessary for her admission to college.
