ICHS Sophomore Class Retreat at Diocesan Retreat Center, Kearny, NJ

The second activity was to be in groups again and this time half of the group was blindfolded. They had to take directions from the other half in order to make the correct shape using a rope. The Retreat director Caitlyn, described the power of leadership in getting those blinded to listen to the directions and being successful with the rope shapes. Caitlyn incorporated this activity with a reflection on the ICHS Mission which calls them to be women of competence, compassion and commitment. Marianne summed up the day,  “for someone that is socially awkward, this was a great retreat.”
