March 14th Walk Out

ICHS participated in National School Walkout Day on Wednesday, March 14th. The students gathered outside at the school’s entrance with a group prayer service.  As a school, we “walked out” to raise our voices and our prayers in solidarity with the other Catholic Schools and students around the country. The ICHS students are part of a national voice to make this a better world.  We are united in our faith to make a difference

Prior to the walkout the entire ICHS community including students, faculty, staff and several Felician Sisters, observed seventeen (17) minutes of silence for those  young students that perished on February 14th. Collectively the group took the silent time to reflect on the power of the massive movement happening across the US today from young people.
