Immaculate Conception High School Ceremony that has a RING of Tradition

Father Charlie Hanley OFM, Cap., celebrated mass with a chapel filled with students, parents, staff, and friends. During the mass, Father Charlie blessed the rings and encouraged the girls to remember the significance of this special day. The mass, presentation of the rings, and the days activities were organized by Sister Alexander Siegel, campus minster and Christine Pucci, Junior Class advisor and ICHS English teacher along with assistance from Joann De Peri Beatrice ’79.

President/Principal Joseph R. Azzolino presented each girl with their shiny new ring, while several students were presented their rings by ICHS alumna family. The girls were encouraged to turn their ring three times for the holy trinity.

The ring is an everlasting reminder of the memories created at ICHS. The excitement of Junior Ring day continued throughout the day as the junior class enjoyed a brunch with family and friends and then enjoyed a fun afternoon of excitement and games at Dave & Buster’s in NY.
