Hark the herald angels sing...

Guests gathered in the foyer around the grand tree decorated with personalized ornaments from the class of 2017 as well as Tree of Lights gift ornaments including names of those honored and remembered this holiday season.  “What a wonderful event to bring the ICHS community closer this Christmas season. “, shared one ICHS grandparent.

After the blessing the vocal ensemble group sang silent night in a darkened auditorium simply by the soft glow of candlelight.  The group performed a melody of holiday favorites including a piano solo of O’ Christmas Tree by Caitlyn Filja ’20, as well as a choreographed performance by the ICHS Dance Team. The seniors performed and sang Mary Did You Know? as their last Christmas performance at ICHS.

During the concert, President/Principal, Joseph R. Azzolino, made a special announcement that ICHS was now a proud member of the TRI M Musical Honor Society. Advisors Katelyn DeGennaro ’06 and Michael Wada installed the inaugural officers who demonstrate music mastery and dedication;  Jacqueline Zegler ’17, president, Brittany Van Der Groef ’17, vice president,  Samantha Duke ’17, secretary, Molly Thomas ’17, treasurer, and Nina Beatrice ’17, historian.

The concert ended with alumnae joining the vocal ensemble on stage for Do You Hear What I Hear?  Katelyn DeGennaro ’06 and Michael Wada choreographed the program and directed the musical performances. The ICHS Dance Team choreographed their routine.
