May Crowning at ICHS

Immaculate Conception High School’s annual May Crowning took place on Monday, May 16th. The entire student body including faculty and staff gathered in the entrance way to honor Mary, The Blessed Mother. The service, led by Sister Alexander Siegel, C.S.S.F. included music by the ICHS choir and the entire school community participating in song and prayer. The senior class led the school in reciting the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary followed by their prayer of Consecration to Mary. The words and music echoed through the halls.

Our devotional ceremony concluded with a senior, Francesca Marcano ’16, placing the crown of flowers on the statue of Mary while her mom watched with pride.
