The Immaculate Conception High School swimming team recently splashed into the record books. With their last win, the swim team set a school record by qualifying for the New Jersey State Finals for the first time in the school’s history. With over 25 students from freshman to seniors, the team won 8 of the 10 swimming event at the girl’s high school level. Captains, Jacqueline Grace ’17, Gina Gryskiewicz ’16, and Amanda Roldan ’16 along with team members practice at the local, Lodi Boys and Girls Club.

The team captains shared, “Swimming is a team environment, you're not just relying on yourself, you're counting on your teammates to do well too." and they couldn’t be more proud of their recent success.

According to Coach Chad Sajnoski, “We've shown that young women, when they get together, can do amazing things.” He stresses that what they've built in this pool goes beyond any meet.

When you set your standards higher, you're going to reach those goals. It’s just you and the pool … keep swimming girls!!
