ICHS President/Principal Joseph R. Azzolino welcomed a full room of honored guests and recognized event sponsors for their continued support in celebrating the school’s growth throughout the past 100 years. Sister Alexander Siegel delivered a heartfelt invocation, giving thanks for the Felician Sisters and alumnae. Jane M. Wojslawowicz ’64 and Thomas Mann presented the Women of Distinction and Hall of Fame awards respectively. Each recipient spoke eloquently about how ICHS has positively impacted their lives.
“ICHS 100th Anniversary is an important milestone to be celebrated with our honorees who continue to share the mission and vision of ICHS. It is also an opportunity to thank the Felician Sisters with the nights Centennial Award.”, shared Joseph R. Azzolino, President/Principal.
Sister Marilyn Minter offered a heartfelt benediction and ended the event by encouraging guests to sing along to “We Are Family” by Sister Sledge.
“What a great way to culminate a year-long celebration of 100 years of education young women in our community! Congratulations to ICHS and a wish for a 100 more years!” shared Sue Ann Marchese Debiak ’66, Women of Distinction Award recipient.
