ICHS students were excited to support the Angels of Sisterhood Scholarship and raised over $400. The Angels of Sisterhood Scholarship was started by our very own Kangela Guerrero, ’20. Her mom, Karen Guerrero, made the delicious empanadas to “give back” to ICHS, for giving her daughter the opportunity to receive an exceptional education.
Kangela added, "The generosity of our donors granted me the wings of independence and provided the financial support I needed to be successful during my four years at ICHS. I want to give back and do the same for the young women that come after me and generations more."
These funds will be used to provide future students who attend ICHS scholarship opportunities. Initiatives like this Empanada Sale allows ICHS to continue its legacy to educate and transform students into young women of competence, compassion, and commitment in a Catholic Felician-Franciscan tradition of leadership and service.
Thank you to those who supported The Angels of Sisterhood Scholarship!
