“Silver bells, silver bells, it’s Christmas time in the city….”

The first stop of the trip was the bright and beautiful Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center. The young ladies then walked around FAO Schwartz and purchased some Christmas gifts for their loved ones. They then walked over to Planet Hollywood for lunch. Last, they visited the amazing Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum and were amazed by the incredible wax figures of their favorite celebrities, world leaders and different people in history, such as Pope John Paul II and Helen Keller.

Kayla Kedersha exclaimed, “My favorite part of the trip was definitely Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. It was incredible seeing some of my favorite actors, actresses and singers as if I was meeting them in real life. My friends and I will never forget the memories of this trip!”

Mr. Azzolino, Miss Mineo, Mrs. Beatrice and Miss Koval had fun, too, strolling around the museum with the young ladies. Some of their favorite exhibits in the museum were Buckingham Palace and the journey through some of Broadway’s iconic shows, such as Cats the Musical and Phantom of the Opera.

Miss Mineo, Junior Class Advisor, was sure to plan a day full of fun and excitement, as she stated, “I really enjoyed planning this trip for the Junior class. The excitement of Christmas time in New York City is something people around the world come to experience. I wanted to give our young ladies the chance to see just how special it is. Also, it gave the students a chance to celebrate together, as a class, receiving their junior ring.”

It was truly an exceptional trip and even a little snow fall in the morning did not stop the fun. In fact, the early snow fall set the scene for a perfect winter wonderland around New York City!
