Della Volpe believes, “Winning isn’t everything, but striving to win is. Achieving a goal is exciting, but it is the obstacles that we overcome day to day in order to reach the goal which makes it all worthwhile. This encompasses making priorities and maintaining perspective, motivation and effort, developing a sense of self – worth and understanding the game first.”
