This year in addition to the National Honor Society and Rho Kappa Honor Society, three new chapters celebrated their first inductions including Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and National English Honor Society. Current members of the National Honor Society and Class of 2019 organized and assisted with the induction ceremonies.
In order to become a member in good standing, a National Honor Society candidate is required to demonstrate the four standards of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. An evening ceremony and reception were held at ICHS with parents, friends, Felician Sisters, faculty, and staff.
NHS advisor, Chris Ward shared, “I’m honored to welcome so many dedicated students to the National Honor Society and celebrate the new chapters. The students accomplishments and contributions that they have made to serve ICHS create a better school, community, and hopefully one day a better world.”
