Enjoy the silence!

During their school day hours of silence (8:00 am – 2:20 pm), the students were not permitted to speak to any teachers, staff, or friends. The objective was to emphasize the value in having a voice and how important listening skills are in communicating effectively. Their body language and expressions were used to convey messages. The students wore all gray attire to distinguish themselves from the rest of the school to indicate their silent day activity.  “I actually found it peaceful to not have to use my voice and to sit back and truly listen to others,” shared senior, Sarah Severini ‘19. “It was extremely difficult to not use our voices and to not be heard,” stated multiple students.  #BeExtraordinary #CommunicationisKey #BlueWolfPride
