Immaculate Conception High School is a private Catholic Secondary School for young women in grades 9-12. The Felician Sisters founded and have sponsored ICHS since 1915. ICHS is Middle States Accredited and is affiliated with the Archdiocese of Newark and the National Catholic Education Association.

Immaculate Conception High School follows a modified 4×4 block schedule with a Day 1/Day 2 rotation.

  • Ensures College Readiness in terms of Longer Class Periods
  • Allows for Project Based Learning Experiences
  • Aligns with Felician University Course times for Collegiate Academy Students

All courses are taken as semester courses except for Math and Religion for freshmen through juniors, which are scheduled for the entire year. Students taking Math and Religion all year, take five 80-minute courses each academic semester for a total of 8 courses each year.

Classes are held Monday through Friday, on a two-day cycle which only affects the Math and Religion course rotation. A student receives five credits for a full year core class and 6 credits for all laboratory-based Science courses. The required program of study is college preparatory; every student who graduates will have taken all the units necessary for her admission to college.
