ICHS Collegiate Academy Program

Perhaps the best way to describe the value of ICHS-CAP is to highlight the combined benefits of saving both time and money.  Students are saving time because they may earn up to 24-30 accredited college credits (including summer semester)-completing one or two semesters of college in high school!  These credits can be transfered to other colleges as well as Felician College.

Parents are saving money with a highly discounted tuition, regardless of where their daughters eventually choose to attend college.  Imagine getting 24 college credits for only $1,200 - a fraction of what these same courses cost at a college!

Expand Your Possibilities!

We are very excited to offer our students the opportunity to earn college credit through the Immaculate Conception High School collegiate Academy Program (ICHS-CAP).

College courses are offered in a variety of subjects during the academic school year and during the summer semester.  Unlike other high school programs, these 100- and 200- level courses are taught by regular college faculty at Felician College.  ICHS-CAP students participate in classes with college students.

Classes are held at the college, which is conveniently located only a few feet away from ICHS.   We are currently working on a schedule that will allow students from ICHS to have a schedule that will coincide with the classes offered at Felician College.

"I enrolled in the program so I would be ahead by the time I would become a full-time college student.  I also wanted to get a feel for what college was like before I graduated high school so I could better prepare myself.  I like the fact that the college professors do not treat us any differently than the full-time college students.  It is a challenge and it is worth it."
